As the International Program Director at Sahwan International Rehab Centre in Hua Hin, Mike Reis brings over 15 years of expertise in addiction recovery and treatment innovation. A former CEO and Program Administrator of a successful, client-focused outpatient recovery program in the United States, Mike holds multiple professional, national and international certifications including International Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II and ICF Master Certified Coach. Mike is on a mission to make our international program a globally recognized destination for successful dual-diagnosis inpatient treatment with the introduction of the Transformational Legacy Program—an innovative framework that connects recovery to personal fulfillment, family healing, career growth, leadership, and community service. This unique approach empowers clients to move beyond sobriety and build meaningful lives defined by purpose, integrity, and lasting impact.
Before entering the field of addiction recovery, Mike held leadership roles at major corporations, including PepsiCo and ConAgra Foods, where he honed his ability to lead, mentor, and build high-performing teams. His passion for guiding others extends beyond professional settings—he is also a keynote speaker and the co-author of Recovery of a Lifetime (2012), a powerful memoir written with his son, Chris Reis, former NFL Super Bowl Champion, sharing their personal journey of overcoming addiction and family dysfunction.
Dedicated to breaking generational cycles and fostering long-term success in sobriety and beyond, Mike’s work with us integrates evidence-based therapies with a global, purpose-driven approach. His commitment to education, mentorship, and transformational change ensures that clients not only stay sober but also create sustainable legacies for themselves and future generations.
